The lyrically named Thrush Holmes (yes, it’s his real name!) is not what you’d call a repressed painter. \u00a0This gigantic work–about as big as a Still Life painting ever gets–is 84″ x 180,” and is emblazoned with the artist’s trademark neon. \u00a0The work is titled 1 Up, and is vieweable ast the Angell Gallery, 12 Ossington Avenue. \u00a0416-530-0444<\/a>. \u00a0www.angellgallery.com<\/a>. His exibit is running until Sept 22nd.<\/p>\n
