John Petcoff of Little Lennox
As well as being a tireless and successful restauranteur–see our video about his seafood eatery, Oyster Boy–John Petcoff is also passionate about art and about running a gallery.
His former art gallery, Lennox International, was at Queen West and Ossington Avenue, where Angell Gallery is now. Petcoff has now opened another, smaller Lennox Contemporary–he refers to it, affectionately, as “little Lennox”–just up the street, at 44 Ossington Avenue. The new operation is part art gallery (specializing in works on paper) and part bookstore (specializing in art books). See Gary Michael Dault’s interview with John above.
